Exceptional
Peter and Anna were very welcoming and made the stay feel very homely. Bonus that the resort is a stones throw from a local stones through gym, 10 minute walk to Bee Farm restaurant Bohol and 10 minute scooter drive to Alona. It was great value and i would definitely stay again.

The most I liked the owners and their dog. It felt like a little family. Always friendly and want to help with things to do. Breakfast was included and good.

What was the highlight of HIGALA Resort
Wonderful host and relaxing space
Peter is so nice and really friendly! We enjoyed the quiet of the resort and loved having the big pool to relax in. The breakfast was cooked fresher for you every day when you wanted it and Peter was always around to help you if you needed. The rooms are big and well air conditioned. You definitely need a moped to get around but there is quite a lot of good food places available.
When we first pulled up, we are a bit skeptical as it seemed like a bit of a nothing area BUT as soon as you are inside you realize how nice the place is and it’s actually nice to be out of the busy area at Alona beach.

Exceptional
We had an amazing stay. Peter helped us with everything possible and location was, for us, perfect! Just rented a scooter and had some incredible days on the Bohol Island. Really enjoyed this!
